Champions with Barnards: Bryan Litz (left), winner of the 2009 Mid-West Palma Championship, and Leo Cebula (right), Mid-West Palma-Palma Rifle Champion pose with their Barnards, and Mid-West Palma trophies. Bryan used his Barnard in a Mastin stock equipped with the Barnard bedding block system. For the final 1000 yard matches that allowed any rifle, Bryan switched to another Barnard barreled action in .284 Win in the same stock for his win. Leo continued through the aggregate with his True-Flite barreled Barnard. The same action he used to win the 2002 Aitken at Camp Perry (eight barrels later!). Its tough to beat a shooter using a Barnard action. |
